A great education means better job prospects.

A prepared and educated workforce is critical to the strength of our community. Recent studies show that by 2020 more than 60% of Idaho jobs will require some kind of post-secondary credential. Higher academic standards will help ensure that students graduate high school better-prepared for the future – whether that be postsecondary or the workforce.

As a community member, your voice is critical. Raising the bar and expecting more is hard work, particularly for students and teachers. To move forward with higher standards and expectations, parents, businesses, and communities need to be vocal about the need to better prepare students for the future.
